* Has Anyone seen my children * Has Anyone seen my children Has anyone see four children or more playing around my kitchen door? It was only a day or two ago- It can't be twenty-thirty years I know Since they tumbled and laughed with glee There in the shade of the Cottonwood tree And I stood in the door and sighed Thinking of the clothes to be washed and dried Out in the sun on a summer day. Has anyone seen four children or more Wandering away from my kitchen door? If you have, Oh this I pray- Send them back this summer day For I have time now to be free And play with them now neath The Cottonwood tree Love, Mother |
