Vera Lehndorff

(a.k.a. Veruschka)

born Countess Vera Gottliebe Anna von Lehndorff in Konigsberg (Kaliningrad)
Prussia as daughter of Heinrich Count Ahasverus von Lehndorff and
Countess Gottliebe von Kalnein.
Her Father was actively engaged in the German resistance movement
and executed for the attempted assassination of Adolf Hitler on July 20 1944.
Vera attended 13 different schools including the
Institute of Rudolf Steiner.
She studied paintind and design at the Fachschule fur Gestaltung,
Hamburg and Florence,
where Hugo Mulas discovered Vera for her first fashion shoot.
